Open call - dansePlatForma#25
dansePlatForma is launching an open call for its 4th edition, which will take place from November 5 to 9, 2025, in Montpellier, France.
Founded in 2019, dansePlatForma's mission is to Reveal little-known Eastern European talent on the French choreographic scene, Support the emergence of new talent by offering them a platform for dissemination and Create spaces for intercultural dialogue between artists and audiences.
dansePlatForma's programme offers a diverse range of shows combining contemporary dance, performances, masterclasses and encounters.

In 2025, two years after the special 2023 edition on the theme Acting for Peace, we will bring together artists from European countries who participated in our previous editions around the theme Recovering Peace.
The dansePlatForma#25 program is open to artists from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine, as well as emerging talents from the Occitanie Region in France.
How can the arts promote reconciliation?
Through powerful performances, meetings, exchanges, and interactive workshops, we wish to explore how art can be a vehicle for peace and reconciliation.

If you are a choreographer from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, or Ukraine and wish to showcase your work to the French public, we invite you to submit your application to the open call by June 1, 2025.
Applications received after this date will not be accepted. Please plan accordingly and submit your materials well in advance of the deadline.
​The programming committee will announce the selected artists by June 15th, 2025, at the latest.

Please carefully review the following essential details regarding your application:
Applicants are responsible for adhering to the detailed terms and conditions, as well as any specific requirements outlined in the Open Call guidelines.
Applying implies your full understanding and acceptance of these terms.
Applicants must submit all requested elements in their application package. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Agreement to Conditions: Selected artists agree to respect the proposed conditions and dates of the festival. This includes, but is not limited to, financial conditions, technical requirements, performance schedules, and any other agreements outlined by dansePlatForma.

Eligibility:
Professionals only: This call is open to professional artists aged 18 and over.
Theme: Proposals must be original and reflect a strong artistic statement that resonates with current events. No text, contemporary dance.
Formats: Small and large-scale formats are accepted, as well as performances with a minimum duration of 30 minutes.
Eligible Countries: This call is open to artists from all countries that participated in previous dansePlatForma editions: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine.
Performances that have already been submitted in previous editions of dansePlatForma will not be accepted
Application Materials:
The application must include the following:
CV of the artist or company
Letter of intent
Technical rider
Full video recording of the proposed work or a recent piece
Links to the artist's or company's website and/or social media profiles
Presentation Technical Conditions:
Stage with sound and lighting – video possible.
Set-up on the same day as the performance.
Scenography, sound, and lighting must be adaptable to the technical conditions of the proposed venues.
dansePlatForma offers the following support to selected artists:
Promotion and Communication: dansePlatForma will provide promotion and communication to French programmers and the general audience.
Venue and Technical Support: Free provision of the theater and technical means (equipment and technicians).
Artist Fee: A fee of €250 (incl. VAT) per person will be provided. Artists are responsible for providing the A1 certificate for all participants.
Accommodation: Per diems and homestay or Airbnb accommodation will be provided.
Travel: Candidates are responsible for securing their own mobility funds (travel costs) and for applying to their own country or to the European mobility funds.
​An invitation letter will be provided to the artists upon their selection.
